DMCA & Copyright Policy

ADOFAI.NET is a fan-created community platform. We store:

• Map metadata only — title, artist, difficulty, BPM, tile count.
• Links to Steam Workshop — we do not host or distribute map files (.adofai). All download links point directly to Steam Workshop pages operated by Valve.
• User-provided cover images — uploaded by community members.
• Community records and comments — user-submitted gameplay data.

We do not host, distribute, or reproduce copyrighted music, game assets, or level files directly.

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized agent) and believe that content on ADOFAI.NET infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to:

Your notice must include:

1. Your full legal name and contact information (email, address, phone).
2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed.
3. The specific URL(s) on ADOFAI.NET where the infringing content appears.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
6. Your electronic or physical signature.

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 72 hours and remove or disable access to the reported content pending investigation.

To report a specific map on ADOFAI.NET for a copyright issue, you can:

• Click the "Report" button on any map detail page. This opens a pre-filled email to our legal team with the map ID included.
• Email legal@adofai.net directly with the map URL and a description of the issue.

When you upload a map to ADOFAI.NET, you agree that:

• You are the creator of the level, or you have explicit permission from the creator to share it.
• The music used in the level is either licensed for use, used with permission, or qualifies as fair use under applicable law.
• You will not upload content that infringes on the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• You understand that ADOFAI.NET may remove your submission at any time in response to a valid copyright claim or at our discretion.
• You will provide a Steam Workshop link as the download source — ADOFAI.NET does not host map files directly.

Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@adofai.net with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice". Your counter-notice must include:

1. Your full name and contact information.
2. Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it appeared.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your location.
5. Your electronic or physical signature.
